Pileworks, a Texas-based pile manufacturer, has started installing a Konecranes 7.5-ton overhead crane in its new production facility to expand its operational efficiency.
In a LinkedIn post, Pileworks stated: “Let the installation of the Konecranes 7.5-ton overhead crane into our new production building commence! This milestone marks another step forward in expanding our capabilities and efficiency.”
Konecranes, a provider of lifting solutions, offers a range of overhead cranes designed to support industrial material handling.
Its 7.5-ton overhead crane selected for Pileworks’ facility is engineered for precise and efficient load handling, catering to various manufacturing requirements.
It is expected to optimise workflow, improve load control, and enhance safety in production operations.
Konecranes designs its overhead cranes with flexible configurations, including single- and double-girder setups, top- and under-running options, to suit different operational needs.
Standard models feature a two-speed hoisting motor, while an optional stepless inverter provides greater precision in load movement.
The design elements improve ergonomics and operational efficiency in industrial settings.
Pileworks said the installation represents a key step in its expansion strategy, as the company invests in advanced lifting solutions to expand its production capabilities.
Recently, Konecranes launched its new D-series electric chain hoist, intended for industries requiring high-performance lifting equipment.
The D-series electric chain hoist features a robust construction, advanced safety features, and a compact design, with lifting capacities ranging from 80kg to 5,000kg.
With seven frame sizes, the hoist is designed to deliver optimal performance in demanding environments, supporting manufacturing, automotive, and process industries.
