US-based industrial lifting solutions provider Kito Crosby has launched Harrington MCE Air Powered Trolleys to complement its TCE-IIB Ex-certified spark-resistant air-powered hoists.
The new trolleys, together with TCE-IIB hoists, form the company’s TCEM-IIB trolley hoist, providing a complete solution for moving and lifting loads in hazardous environments.
The Harrington TCEM-IIB Series Ex Certified Spark Resistant Air Trolley Hoists are designed to meet the European safety regulations for explosive atmospheres.
They are certified to meet the latest ATEX standards for safety and performance requirements in environments where explosive gases and dust may be present.
Also, they are certified to Ex II 2G Ex h IIB T4 Gb for gas and Ex II 2D Ex h III B 130°C Db for dust, ensuring compliance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.
The new spark-resistant trolley hoists offer an unlimited duty cycle, which allows continuous operation without downtime.
Its spring-loaded multi-vane motor enables smooth movement and controlled travel, and its drop stops and rubber bumpers ensure safe operation.
The trolley comes with bronze wheels designed to fit flat or tapered beam flanges, and its trolley muffler reduces noise levels for operator comfort.
To provide additional spark resistance, the trolley features a nickel-plated load chain, and bronze coating for the bottom hooks.
