US-based construction firm Chad Fisher Construction (CFC) has completed the development of a pre-engineered metal building for Lindell Yachts, a company that manufactures premium fishing boats.
The facility, covering an area of 31,360ft2, features a metal roofing system and is intended to enhance the production capabilities of Lindell Yachts.
Inside the new structure, there are dedicated manufacturing zones for casting moulds and finishing bays, which are outfitted with overhead 5-ton trolley cranes.
The southern section of the building is designed to accommodate six to eight hulls, allowing for the installation of engines, electronics, and both interior and exterior trim, as well as cabinetry and appliances.
The project also included the construction of various office spaces, conference rooms, an employee lounge, restrooms, an IT closet, and storage areas for materials. These additions are aimed at maximising the operational efficiency of the facility for Lindell Yachts.
Safety measures have been incorporated into the building’s design, including the installation of fire sprinkler systems and first responder repeater equipment to meet safety standards.
Lindell Yachts produces fishing boats that range from 38 to 48 feet in length, which are sold throughout North America and are utilised in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
