
Armstrong Equipment, a subsidiary of Armstrong Group International, has broken ground on its new global headquarters in Miami, Florida, and deployed several overhead cranes.
The company will build its global headquarters on a five-acre greenfield site in South Florida, with a 12,000ft2 office space and a 30,000ft2 distribution, manufacturing, and service area.
Armstrong Equipment has deployed multiple overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 55 tons and a hook height of 35ft, to facilitate the handling of heavy-duty projects.
The construction of the headquarters is expected to be completed in 2026.
Armstrong Equipment, in a LinkedIn post, stated: “We are proud to announce that we have broken ground on our New Global Headquarters, located in Miami, Florida USA.
“This greenfield project will encompass 5 acres of prime industrial South Florida real estate. Our new facility will consist of 12,000 sq/ft of office and 30,000 sq/ft of distribution, manufacturing, and service space.
“With multiple overhead cranes reaching a lifting capacity of 55-TONS at a hook height of 35′.
“Our corporate park will complement our offshore stores and will also allow us to take on the most demanding of projects and production builds. We are pleased to announce this 8-digit investment will be completed in Summer of 2026.”
Established in 1978, Armstrong Equipment specialises in stocking, developing, and manufacturing heavy equipment specialising in aggregate machinery and road-building equipment.
The company provides new, used, and rebuilt equipment, and supplies spare parts for the mining, roadbuilding, and rock quarry industries.
Furthermore, Armstrong Equipment said its new global headquarters will strengthen its operations and infrastructure to meet industry demands.
