Looking ahead: ACE members discuss rebrand
As previously reported in OCH, MHI’s Electrification and Controls Manufacturers Association (ECMA) has rebranded as the Automation, Controls and Electrification Association (ACE), marking a new era of innovation in industrial automation and material handling. Here to tell us more is ACE chair Jason Looman and its members.
Leading by example
John Paxton has been the CEO of MHI, the Material Handling Industry Association for four years. Prior to that, he led the Demag Cranes North American business. During his role with Demag, he was a long-term volunteer leader at the association, and he served in many roles including Chair of the MHI Board. MHI has a Board of Governors where the chairs rotate every two years, and each board member can serve up to seven terms if they serve through the Executive Chair roles. At the beginning of the year MHI announced its 2024 Board of Governors and Roundtable Advisory Committee. Paxton reports to Bryan Jensen, (Chairperson and Executive Vice President at St. Onge) as the Chair of the MHI Board.
