Material Handling Systems (MHS Crane) has opened a new overhead crane manufacturing facility in Braddock, Pennsylvania, enhancing its service capabilities along the East Coast.

The 106,000ft2 facility is designed to manufacture, assemble, repair, and service a wide array of industrial equipment, including overhead cranes, hoists, conveyors, and winches.

It will serve diverse industries such as aviation, manufacturing, and government.

The new facility would strengthen MHS Crane’s production abilities, enabling the company to effectively meet the growing demand for high-quality, custom-engineered solutions.

With more than 45 years of expertise in designing and servicing material handling equipment, MHS Crane delivers improved turnaround times and expanded repair services.

The new facility, equipped with a team of skilled engineers and technicians, will focus on manufacturing and servicing MHS Crane’s extensive product range.

In addition, its dedicated training centre will offer courses in safety, equipment operation, and maintenance, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.

The Pennsylvania location will also enhance crane repair services, provide modernisation options, and conduct load testing, aligning with the company’s standards.

Established in 1975, MHS provides custom crane systems, hoist solutions, and engineering support to government, aerospace, manufacturing, and marine sectors.
