Kito Crosby has agreed to acquire eepos and its subsidiaries, known for its aluminum light crane systems, with the acquisition expected to be finalized in Q3, 2024.

Founded in 2006 in Wiehl, Germany, eepos has introduced flexible lifting solutions to workplaces worldwide. Focusing on the development of modular, smooth-running cranes made from lightweight aluminum it has subsidiaries in the US, Mexico, Brazil, Hungary, Turkey, France, South Africa, China, and India.

eepos will join Kito Crosby’s portfolio of installed lifting solutions, including the Kito, Harrington, and Erikkila brands. Additionally, the acquisition furthers Kito Crosby’s presence in ergonomic solutions enabling safer working practices for workers globally.

Crane 1 acquires Standard Crane & Hoist

Crane 1 has acquired Standard Crane & Hoist, a service and equipment provider of overhead crane inspections, repairs and maintenance, parts, and new cranes with eight locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.

Founded in 1909, Standard Crane was founded by Cal Hadden as the Standard Supply Company focusing on the industrial supply market in the Gulf Coast region. Since 1990, under the management of Mac Hadden, the company has thrived after it pivoted to the overhead crane market and was renamed Standard Crane.

The company will continue to expand its operations across the South and Southwest regions, servicing both existing and new customers at the same high level.

Wolter acquires Cincinnati Crane & Hoist

Wolter material handling solutions has acquired Cincinnati Crane & Hoist (CC&H), a manufacturer of cranes and hoists based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
