TELIA technology from CareGo is a facility optimization and automation solution designed to optimize material handling and storage operations in warehouses and logistics centers.
The company has partnered with Avon Engineering in Ontario, Canada, to integrate its technology into its Avon Automated Pallet Lifter systems to autonomously transport loaded pallets within a plant, warehouse, or distribution center.
Engineered with a network of sensors, cameras, and navigation software, these systems can navigate complex environments, while seamlessly avoiding obstacles. They can be programmed to follow predetermined paths or adapt to changing routes in real-time.
Avon Automated pallet lifters are reeved directly into a crane, with funnels at the top to engage with pins hanging from the crane. The design reduces sway when in motion and picks up coils strapped to a pallet. A first set of arms picks up the pallet and a second set of arms keeps the load secure and stable.
